Illinois is Cool
Desperate to reassure America that Obama is still Cool, USA Today has put together this statistical analysis of government corruption by state. Not only is Obama’s state cool, so is ours!
The analysis does not account for population growth curves. Thus, the Clark County Commission’s group conviction for crimes committed ten years ago when Nevada’s population was much smaller are not weighted in USA Today’s crimes-per-hundred-thousand-residents. In other words, those commissioners represented many more convictions per capita back when they were convicted than they do today.
